Junior Seed Plant Operator​

Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to): 

• Assist with packaging and handling of seed products, including bagging and tote filling

• Operate and monitor conveyor belt systems to ensure efficient material flow

• Fill tote bags with seed while maintaining accuracy and quality standards

• Secure tote bags by properly tying and sealing them

• Apply banding to packaged products for secure transportation and storage

• Support loading operations by assisting with the safe and efficient loading of trucks

• Assist in the seed treatment process, following proper procedures and safety guidelines

• Operate a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse

•  Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe working environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment

• Basic understanding of seed handling, packaging, and treatment process

• Ability yo life and carry heavy items

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday (some weekends may be required during planting seasons)
