AAC Awesome VB

AAC Awesome VB is a very high-yielding special-purpose spring (with a soft white kernel type) wheat with a strong agronomic package. AAC Awesome VB has good straw strength and an excellent disease package. AAC Awesome VB has the SM1 gene for tolerance to the orange wheat blossom midge (AC Andrew is the refuge). AAC Awesome VB has maturity similar to AC Andrew and manages maturity by seeding early and increasing the seeding rate to hasten maturity.
